It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone and we are now in the 2007-2008 year of the BCAMA - a stellar association that has served the BC marketing community for more than 50 years.
This past year has continued to be one of learning and growth for our organization and for me personally, as I now take on the role of President. We have a very talented group of seasoned and new Board members to guide us throughout the year, over 500 active members, the unwavering support of our sponsors, and an enthusiastic group of committee members and volunteers who dedicate many hours to make our events a success.
This year we’ll be offering an equally, if not more inspiring array of programs and events to educate and engage our members, student members, sponsors and the business community, starting with the BCAMA’s premier Marketer of the Year award and gala in late September. We’ll also be bringing in a group of exciting speakers for our Speaker Series program, specialists for our Special Interest Groups (SIGs), continuing our fabulous evening networking events and topping if off with the 2008 VISION marketing conference.
Finally as we plunge into this new year I encourage you to get involved with the BCAMA, support our students and sponsors, and come out to our events to network and continue to learn new marketing techniques. It is my pleasure to serve you – our members, our sponsors and our volunteer board.
