The BCAMA has a distinguished past and a promising future.  With over 50 years of history in the Vancouver marketplace, the association has built a solid foundation based on quality, innovation, creativity and expertise in delivering knowledge.  We continue to bring new ideas to the marketplace and to act as a resource to our membership.

The dedication and commitment from our Board of Directors allows us to introduce new programs.  As volunteers, they generously donate their time and work at creating excellence in the local marketing community.  Their leadership will continue to strengthen the association. 

I encourage you to come out and experience our diverse programming.  You will find it timely, relevant and valuable, regardless of your experience in the local marketing community.  We will be kicking off the year with the 39th Annual Marketer of the Year gala taking place in early September followed by our Breakfast Speaker Series and Special Interest Groups (SIGS) events presenting top of mind topics and expert speakers.  We introduced Pure Networking last year with tremendous results and will hold a series of networking events throughout the year.  We will continue to enhance the program and offer programs that meet our membership needs.  We will close off the year with our 2010 Vision Conference. 

I look forward to the upcoming year and the programs that we have introduced.  I encourage our members, sponsors, and volunteers to attend our monthly events and hope that each of you finds the programming to be leading edge in the marketplace.
