BCAMA is recruiting Volunteers for the new 2004-2005 Year!

The BCAMA is kicking off a new year and here's your opportunity to get involved with BC's premier marketing organization and start building your connections. There are several volunteer opportunities available now:
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Special Events Committee Members (3 volunteers)
Are you interested in planning great events? We are looking for
enthusiastic committee members to help plan and execute our AGM and
Appreciation night. This involves developing a theme, procuring the
venue, entertainment and sponsors... and seeing it all come to fruition
by helping with the logistics on the day of the event. Ideally you are
organized and focused on creating a successful promotions strategy to
generate high number of participants.
Creative Writer & Graphic Designer (2 volunteers) Are you looking to be part of a legacy towards winning AMA chapter excellence with the writing, design and production of the 2004/2005 annual report. We are looking for a creative writer and a graphic designer to showcase the BCAMA successes throughout the year in true marketing style. You will work closely with the President and Board of Directors. The final product goal: a presentation to remember, a legacy for future years and ultimately an award winning submission. Are you up for the challenge and ready to be recognized as being part of this creative project?
Web Site Committee Members
Extranet Manager: To provide operational improvements that serves the current membership and Board of Directors
Special Projects/Process Improvement Manager: To ensure processes are improved for the users of the web site and internally. Conduct usability study of the website with current and potential users and provide recommendations for improvement.
Job Bank Manager: To increase job bank revenue
Database and Volunteer Committee Members
Database Manager: Manage database maintenance, develop and implement process improvements working with Database Coordinator, Database Administrator, Website and Communication committees.
Database Coordinator: Establish maintenance policies and procedures and work with Database Manager to train stakeholders as required
Volunteer Manager: Manage recruitment and maintain volunteer lists in database. Liaise with stakeholders on volunteer requirements and manage communication to volunteers
Speaker Series Committee Members
Analyst: Speaker Evaluation Form Analysis (starting October 2004), Responsible for data entry into excel template, statistical analysis and develop presentation of results. Prefer SPSS analysis.
Board Elections (2004-2005) Committee Members
6 Volunteers required: Work with all aspects of the election process
for the 2004/05 BCAMA Board.
