What’s your Facebook strategy? If you’ve ever been asked to answer this question, and felt a little out of your element, don’t worry. It’s the wrong question to ask when developing a digital marketing strategy. This presentation and discussion will address the need to have a content strategy that transcends channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and even your own website. The presentation will also include the do’s and don’ts of Facebook, which may counter what many Social Media Gurus recommend. Using case studies, we will compare and contrast two successful content strategies for two local companies – Polygon Homes and Electronic Arts. We will illustrate that there is no Facebook template to success. Gain some insights on how to reframe your thoughts around digital marketing and how it is independent of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and your own website.
