About Our Speakers
VP Client Service and Regional Manager Western Canada
Jerrid oversees client service activities for Newad’s Western Canadian offices and is responsible for the development of Newad’s Indoor Advertising, Experiential Marketing, Online and Mobile divisions.
An Oilers fan (wait for the boooo), self-professed mobile geek and proud new father (wait for the awwww), Jerrid initially developed a love for advertising from watching Angela Bower on “Who’s the Boss”.
Jerrid sits on several industry boards including NABS and the Out of Home Marketing Association of Canada
Executive Vice President
David is a Co-founder of Inventa, an advertising agency specializing in experiential advertising, sales promotions and non traditional services and approaches. David has more than 20 years of experience working with clients such as Coca Cola, Nintendo, Nestle, Bell just to name a few. Inventa has grown to be one of the leading experiential agencies in Canada with two full service offices in Vancouver and Toronto.
David has been awarded one of Vancouver’s Top 40 under 40; Canadian Young Entrepreneur of the year; and a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Inventa was voted one of Canada hottest start ups by Profit Magazine, won numerous marketing awards and has been voted as one of the best employers to work for in BC. In 2011 Inventa won an International Globe award for Best Event or Experiental Marketing Campaign for work done with Richmond Centre.
David is the Volunteer Chair and co-founder of KidSport Vancouver, and the lead member of the Marketing Committee for KidSport Canada while also volunteering his time on the Sponsorship committee for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Director, Vancouver Office
After eight years pioneering experiential marketing in Canada, Rob moved to the West Coast and opened the Vancouver office of GMR Marketing. It is here, at the largest experiential marketing agency in North America, that Rob oversees the strategy, planning and execution of some of Canada’s most creative experiential campaigns for clients including TELUS, Best Buy Canada, Visa Canada, BC Dairy Foundation, Canadian Tourism Commission and Sun-Rype.
In his current role as Director, Rob spearheads the development of new business opportunities, directs the operational aspects of regional activities and provides on-site and behind-the-scenes management for consumer engagement programs in Western Canada.
Prior to joining GMR, Rob was the Director of Operations at Montreal-based boutique agency Gearwerx Experiential Marketing, where he pushed the envelope to create original and impactful experiential marketing campaigns for Absolut, Jetsgo, Alliance Atlantis and Procter & Gamble.
Director, Communication and Partnerships
A Montreal native, Gregory leads the communication and partnership department at brand.LIVE, one of Canada’s leading event production companies managing LIVE at Squamish, the Celebration of Light, City and Slope and more. Working with clients and agencies, Gregory leverages these events to create effective marketing solutions, including traditional, social and experiential marketing.
Clients have included Virgin Mobile, Red Bull, Kokanee, Sennheiser, Playstation and Metro News and agencies such as Inventa, GMR, Match Marketing, McLaren Momentum and Trojan One.
Prior to this Gregory was Account Director at smak media, leading experiential marketing programs nationally for clients such as Future Shop, The Dairy Farmers of Canada, Toronto Tourism and the Whitecaps.
