As the Director of Marketing at HootSuite, Cameron is focused on building a global brand through a storytelling approach, with social media and content at its core. With over 15 years of digital media and marketing experience Cameron previously worked for Intrawest, as VP Marketing Services where he built a culture of creativity and innovation with a community of 70 marketers around world, supporting $5 Billion in real estate sales. He has also worked on the agency-side with McCann WorldGroup, in San Francisco and Toronto, leading global campaigns for General Motors, Unilever and Microsoft.

Simon is the CEO of Vancouver’s leading Strategic Research and Brand Consultancy, The Sound Research, which applies leading edge research techniques, technologies and psychological models to understand consumer behaviour and advise clients on Innovation, Brand Strategy and Advertising and Communication development. Current clients include Google, LinkedIn, Unilever, Pepsi, Diageo, Miller Coors, Netflix, Wrigley and Kellogg as well as many of the leading advertising agencies around the world.
Before moving to Canada from England, Simon built and ultimately sold a very successful Marketing Consulting business with a foot in both data and more creative delivery, helped Cello plc enter the US market and managed to become a partner with the strategy division of Capgemini.
