Sandy is Managing Partner at Pound & Grain, a digital creative agency in Vancouver and Toronto that builds brands through creating personality driven and utility experiences. Previously, as Senior Vice President and Managing Partner at Dare, the UK’s Digital Agency of the Decade, Sandy, along with his business partner, was responsible for launching Dare in North America and ran their West Coast operations. Prior to Dare, Sandy was General Manager of Fjord West, a digital marketing agency that, under his vision and management, grew into one of Canada’s largest digital agencies and a top performer in Cossette’s global network.
Sandy has overseen digital marketing engagements for clients like TELUS, McDonalds, SAP, AT&T, Electronic Arts, Sony Ericsson, Diageo, MEC and Nintendo.
Sandy’s career has coincided with the commercialization of the Internet. In 1996, Sandy co-founded Peachtree Network, one of the first online grocery shopping networks, which went public in 2000.

Managing Director, Invoke Media
Chris Miller is Managing Director at Invoke Media, a digital innovation company based in Vancouver. Chris’ experience spans 15 years with multiple agencies and brands leading planning and strategy, integrated traditional and digital campaigns, and mobile/app/web design and development.
Chris has led integrated campaigns and created digital experiences for brands including McDonald’s, the NHL, Arc’teryx, Indochino, TELUS, Gap and many others. Chris also spent 5 years as an instructor at BCIT in web design and development.
President, Graphically Speaking
Darrell is the President and Founder of Graphically Speaking, a web development and digital agency that employs over 50 web specialists. Graphically Speaking specializes in helping companies and organizations maximize their online potential.
Prior to founding Graphically Speaking, Darrell was involved with two research and technology companies that played a pivotal role in the evolution of the Internet. First, he worked with AEL Microtel/Microtel Pacific Research, a joint partnership between BC Tel and GTE Telephone, and later with Cableshare, the research and technology division of Rogers Cable. Darrell is also a Past President of the BCAMA and a father to three fantastic children.
Executive VP, Ipsos in Western Canada & the Pacific Northwest
Michael Rodenburgh is Executive VP for Ipsos in Western Canada & the Pacific Northwest. In his role, he leads a team of over 45 researchers across all of Ipsos’ strategic business units. He is regarded as an innovative thinker in the research industry, and has significant experience working with some of North America’s largest companies.
Michael has been in the marketing research industry for over 20 years and has held senior executive positions in client services, product development, and business development. Michael is an award-winning researcher, and was awarded MRIA’s “Best in Class” award in 2003 for the best overall research study in Canada, and more recently “Best Paper” at the November 2012 ESOMAR Digital 3D Dimensions conference in Amsterdam.
He is a Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP) and has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from McMaster University. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and writes often for various research-industry publications.
