Head of Industry, Media Platforms, Google – and Co-Chair, Programmatic Trading Committee, IAB Canada
JAn accomplished advertising and media executive with over 15 years of experience ranging across agency, publisher, ad tech, and client sides of the industry, Thierry is a specialist in the shift towards marketing automation and data management strategies. As Head of Industry on Google’s DoubleClick Platform Solutions and Innovations team, Thierry leads a group driving the adoption of programmatic technologies with both agencies and marketers.
Prior to joining Google, Thierry was one of the founding employees of programmatic innovators, The Exchange Lab. Among industry leadership positions, Thierry sits as co-chair of the IAB Canada’s Programmatic Trading Committee.
Local Search & Paid Media Specialist, lululemon athletica
Lindsay has worked at lululemon for just over one year, where she has been tasked with building the paid media programs. In this role, Lindsay is responsible for paid media strategy, execution of display, video, affiliate, paid social and partnerships.
Prior to working at lululemon, she worked at OMD as a Media Buyer/Strategist. Here she planned and executed integrated media campaigns for regional clients including BCLC, BCAA, YVR, Strategic Milk Alliance, BC Egg Marketing Boards, Mercedes Benz Vancouver and Money Mart.
Marketing Manager, Digital & Direct, 7‑Eleven Canada
Kyle is responsible for the development of 7-Eleven Canada’s integrated digital strategy with respect to the Canadian web properties, social media profiles, digital advertising, and email marketing. Additionally, he is responsible for direct marketing channels, event coordination, and community relations.
Prior to joining 7-Eleven Canada, Kyle worked for Mediative for eight years. During this time, he managed accounts with in excess of 1 million keywords and a monthly spend of over $1 million. Programmatic was a natural fit given Kyle’s extensive background in SEM and display advertising. He was a contributing author to the IAB whitepaper on defining performance media during the early rise of programmatic advertising.
Digital Services Manager, DSA Media
Zac manages the digital team at DSA Media and focuses on a variety of services, including media planning and buying, web development and project management.
Zac brings 16 years of experience to his role and, before joining DSA, he spent six years at Trader Corporation where he worked as a Production Manager, supervising a team of graphic and web designers. He helped manage several large projects, including the implementation of a paperless workflow.
Over the last decade, Zac has built a diverse background working on digital marketing, web design and social media projects for businesses small and large. He has planned and executed campaigns for Calgary Co-op, Calgary Stampede, SaskTel, SaskPower, Old Dutch, Metro Vancouver, Alberta Beverage Container Recycling Corporation, Affinity Credit Union, Western Environmental, Energy Navigator, and many others.
