Why Doing Good Is Great For Business and How To Do It Better.
p>These days, it seems as if just about everything associated with marketing is going through some form of reinvention—even the relatively new approaches like Cause Marketing.
Gone are the days when corporations could simply ally themselves with causes to burnish their reputation. Today, both corporate giants and rapidly growing startups are leading with their social and environmental missions; missions that define them as much as their products and services.
These bold moves are not only winning hearts and minds of consumers and the general public, they’re redefining Cause Marketing… for the better. Because, when done in the same old way Cause Marketing can actually be, well, a cause for concern.
So whether you’re looking to learn how best to implement your first Cause Marketing campaign or to seek guidance for incorporating the latest Social Responsibility strategies, we invite you to join us on April 26th to hear Marc Stoiber chart the rise of this new generation of corporations, and how your company can adopt their strategies. Marc will also be joined by panelist Darwin Sauer and Darren Mahaffy — from Vancity and Nature’s Path Foods, respectively. Collectively, they’ll share their advice and experiences with helping their respective organizations to continue to make a profit while actually making a difference.
Meet Our Main Speakers
Marc Stoiber is an entrepreneur, brand consultant and writer. As an ad man, he led the creative departments of several multinational ad agencies, created Cannes Gold ads for clients like Budweiser, and resurrected declining brands like Mr. Clean – turning the bald man into Procter’s worldwide turnaround of the year.
As an entrepreneur, he launched his own green ad agency, sold that to an innovation firm, helped launch a search insight tool aimed at entrepreneurs, and has just launched his latest company – Your Ultimate Speech. In 2014, he wrote Didn’t See It Coming, his award-winning book on the implosion of traditional advertising.
He continues to consult with individual clients, teaches marketing at Royal Roads University, blogs / podcasts / keynotes prolifically, and is the designated marketing expert in a new executive counsel collective named $2,000 Coffee.
