The First Annual BCAMA Golf tournament was held on May 16th at the picturesque Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club. The sun shone warmly on the close to 50 golfers who enjoyed a fun-filled day.
Golfers were greeted in the morning and presented with a goodie bag filled with various gifts including 2 PNE tickets to Playland. Each golfer then tested their luck on the Putting Green and was given the opportunity to enhance their score for the day with the purchase of the “Hacker Package”, which contained both mulligans and gimmie coupons.
BCAMA’s own Board Member “Sure-shot” Lisa Lynk, handily defeated the competition and was declared winner of the Putting Contest. All proceeds were donated to the National Advertising Benevolent Society, the BCAMA’s charity of choice.
The tournament day continued as golfers enjoyed lunch and a drink on the patio prior to teeing off. Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club is a uniquely designed course and is known for the challenges created by the many lakes scattered throughout the 18 holes. To add excitement to the day, and relieve some pressure, each Team Captain kept track of all “water balls”. The foursome from Premier Envelope had the dubious honour of “winning” this contest and each took home a sleeve of golf balls for having collectively hit the most balls into the water!
After an eventrfull day on the course, golfers enjoyed a cold drink while continuing to network with business peers. A real treat was the opportunity to relax and unwind with a massage from a certified Masseuse provided by Le Petit Spa, a sponsor of the tournament. Dinner included a gourmet West Coast Classic Seafood buffet followed by a brief awards presentation. The foursome from Portables were recognized as the Champions winning Best Overall Score. The evening ended with BCAMA President, Evangeline Englezos thanking everyone who attended and an inviting them back next year

Tournament Schedule
The tournament will begin with a late morning tee off for 18 holes of exciting golf followed by a reception and dinner in the clubhouse.
