Rosalind Genge

Director, Thought Leadership Series

Rosalind began her career in advertising/media as an Account Executive in Toronto after graduating the University of Toronto with a BSc in Psychology (specializing in Mass Communications). A move to the West Coast and enrollment in graduate courses in Tourism Policy and Planning at Simon Fraser University lead to a diversion to the tourism and hospitality industry. During her 13 years of tourism experience with a resort DMO and national hotel chains, she built strong relationships in the Canadian Tourism Community. Rosalind joined Hatch64 in 2003 where her career came full circle. She has collaborated with Western Canadian based advertisers and their agencies to achieve their marketing goals and engage domestic and global audiences leveraging traditional consumer and trade travel media publications. As the digital media landscape evolved, so did Rosalind’s skill set with programmatic media. An avid traveller, Rosalind believes in travelling with a purpose. Her domestic travels have been around discovering the jewels of BC (from Bella Bella to Cathedral Lakes) and international trips that centre around volunteer tourism, achieving physical challenges or learning about international cultures (of which the cornerstone is food!). In January 2021, Rosalind volunteered as Event Coordinator with the BCAMA. Her role connected her with industry leaders, innovators and speakers deeply entrenched in the world of Digital Marketing and Marketing Technology. She is very excited to continue her association with the BCAMA in the role of Director of Thought Leadership Speaker Series.
