Maybe you’re hesitant to move into a leadership role or you’ve wanted to for a while. Either way, all you need is encouragement, support and a network to get you going. Get in the program, connect with a diverse group of colleagues, learn key leadership skills and see what’s possible.
Level Up is for marketers at the middle manager level (4-7+ years of experience) who want to break through to the Director/VP level and could use a hand up to level up.

“My mentor is absolutely amazing, and I was lucky to have her guiding me through my career plan. Right from the first meeting, she was excited to share her experience and help me define an actionable plan to achieve my goals and aspirations. She had a genuinely positive attitude that I really appreciated. You could tell that she had a lot of enthusiasm to be part of the Level Up program and was happy to guide me.I would recommend Level Up to others for a lot of reasons. The program is well structured; it isn’t that long of a program in terms of time commitment, and all of the mentors were very strong and willing to share their time and knowledge with the mentees. I appreciate the time and effort my mentor, and the BCAMA team put into the program.”
– Luciana Cinacchi, 2020/2021 Mentee
All mentors for this program have been hand-picked by the BCAMA because they are not only accomplished senior marketers, but they are true leaders. Leaders who care about people, challenging each other to become better professionals, and future leaders. See below for a list of past mentors.
Mentorship Program Outline
Get paired up with a senior marketer that can share their life experiences with you and help you realize your potential.
The program starts with a speed networking event on October 13, where you will have the chance to meet all the mentors and choose which ones you would prefer to work with. (Chemistry counts!)
On being paired with a mentor you will meet one-on-one at least once per month for the duration of the six month mentorship program. Each month will be themed around a key leadership skill and include relevant educational content that will help you level up, such as:
conflict resolution, effective communication, coaching
By the end of the program, you will have learned about what great leadership is and be well-positioned to take your career to the next level.
Inclusion and diversity are important to us. We invite those from equity deserving groups to apply as either a mentor or mentee.: Black, Indigenous, people of colour, and LBGTQ2S+ communities.
