John Lo is Senior Director, Brand and Marketing at the University of British Columbia, where he leads a talented, multidisciplinary team responsible for institutional brand management, advertising, design, marketing, digital communications, and market research. Before making the move to higher education marketing, John spent a decade working in financial services, leading Vancity’s market research and database marketing functions, where he focused on utilizing advanced analytics to inform data-driven decisions and strategies. John holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. John is honoured and excited to join the BCAMA Board of Directors, and to serve as its Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
